The Lewis Hamilton Monster is slightly different from the other zero sugar Monsters as this one tastes a lot more like a juice which makes the product seem a lot less fizzy resulting in it feeling like a weird experience. The flavour is noticeably peach however I don’t know If it’s because I personally associate peach to more of a yogurt product, but I feel there is a creamy profile to it which I don’t find to be very enjoyable. Due to it seeming more like a juice rather than a fizzy drink the peach isn’t as unnatural and artificial which is pretty refreshing.
Having a drink which is associated with someone who is a very well-known celebrity as well as a high performing athlete does create an attraction to the product and makes people want to try it even if they don’t know what the flavour is. However, I feel that it is very underwhelming it isn’t the worst but its definitely not the best. Due to the association with an athlete that is why I think the drink is more like a juice to give it a further healthy appearance along with the zero sugar.
The can design is very cool, it has had a lot of input from Lewis Hamilton and predominantly features his favourite colour which is purple. The can gives no indication of what the flavour could be however it is still very appealing to make people want to try it as the colours are so vibrant and the design has connotations of speed.
